Marriott Celebrates National Assisted Living Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Marriott Senior Living Services has coordinated a week of observance for National Assisted Living Week, Sept. 8 to 14. In spirit of the week, more than 150 residents of Marriott facilities will continue working as Senior Corps volunteers. These individuals have make sack lunches for area homeless shelters, work as volunteers at museums, knit preemie hats for hospitals, package first aid kits for rescue workers and organize blood drives among other things.
