Newton Senior Living Buys 4 New Facilities
NEEDHAM, Mass. - Newton Senior Living, a provider of assisted living in the Northeast, has acquired for residences in Conne4cticut and New York. This brings the company's number of residences in operation to 22. The facilities purchased are: Bridges at Lake Whitney in Hamden, Conn. Bridges at The Green in Rocky Hill, Conn. Bridges at Cross Road in Waterford, Conn. Cambridge House on the Hudson in Ossining, NY Prior to purchasing these facilities, Newton Senior Living serves as the management company of the properties. "By acquiring these residences, we are able to implement operational, marketing, resident care and financial systems to better serve the residents and associates at each site," says company president and CEO Michael A. Stoller. "Our existing management agreements with the sellers provides us with an unique opportunity to get to know the associates, residents and inner-workings of the residence prior to our acquisition. We are extremely confident in the future performance of these residences."
