Minolta Introduces Portable Pulse Monitor
It's
called PULSOX-3 and this hand-held device attaches to a patient's wrist and
finger to measure the pulse and oxygen-saturation levels in the blood. Minolta
Instrument Systems Division put out the small, lightweight and portable monitor.
An accurate reading is provided in 11 seconds. PULSOX-3 records data up to 12
hours and can output to a PC.
